Bartola Jug - Medium
We love the natural shape with soft curvature and mysterious color of this beautiful vase. Coyotepec pottery communities in Oaxaca, Mexico are known for their use of this unique black clay. The metallic gray finish is an indicator that they are fired at an extremely high temperature. Due to the nature of the Oaxacan pottery, its irregular finish surface is not a defect. We don’t recommend Oaxaca potteries if you are sensitive to natural, irregular looking.
